I'm an illustrator based in the US, originally from Caracas, Venezuela.

I have been drawing and painting since I could grab a pen. When I discovered that I could pursue a career doing what I've loved doing all my life, I knew that was my place. In my journey, I spent some time figuring out what I wanted to do with my art until I arrived in the book world.

I fell in love with children's book illustrations when I had my first opportunity to do one. The creative process, helping the author bring their story to life, and later, watching the children's smiley faces when looking at the pictures in those books; it was magical!

When I'm not drawing, you can find me snuggled up somewhere, reading a book, taking a nap, watching movies/ series, or doing something with my family.
